Brass Column Floor Lamp
$216.75$289.00-25%
A reading light with presence.
Finish
Selected: Antique Brass
The column is slim on purpose — it reads as a line in the room rather than a piece of furniture. The base is weighted steel under the brass, so it stays put in a walkway.
At 58 inches the shade sits just above shoulder height in an armchair, which is where you want it for reading without glare.
A foot-operated switch sits on the cord, so you are not bending to the base every time.
Sold singly, but it was designed to be bought in pairs and placed at either end of a sofa.

Finally a floor lamp slim enough for a Brooklyn living room. The foot switch means I never have to reach down behind the armchair.

Bought the pair for either end of the sofa as suggested and the room reads completely differently at night. Base is solid — no wobble with a toddler running past.

Beautiful and well made. Assembly is three pieces and took five minutes, though the shade needed a nudge to sit perfectly level.
