Jute, hand-loomed into a dense boucle weave with no dye at all — the colour variation across the rug is the fibre itself.
This is the base layer. On its own it anchors a dining table; under a smaller patterned rug it gives the whole arrangement a floor to sit on.
Flat and low profile, so a door clears it and a chair slides over it. It handles a hallway or an entry without matting down.
Shake it out or vacuum without the beater bar. Blot spills — do not soak jute.
